Here at the Cabins we love to see the Lodge and the Cabins used for those special family gatherings. The Lodge and Conference Center is always busy for those large family special events and the Cabins offer the smaller family events a special atmosphere, warm and cozy and relaxing. We hate to see cabins vacant over the weekend.  Beginning February 1, 2013, when we have 3 or more cabins that haven't been reserved for the coming weekend, we will send notice of Special Discounts of 25% for last minute reservations.

Winterplace Ski Resort

Winterplace is open and waiting for that ski trip you have been waiting for and our Cabins just 12 miles north off Route 19 at Beaver, W.Va, is a great place to enhance that ski adventure.

Our Hot Tubs on the back decks of each cabin offers a relaxing end to a day of skiing. Plan that special trip early and make sure a Pine Haven Cabin reservation completes the special event.

Welcome to the Boy Scouts of America in 2013 to the Southern West Virginia Outdoor Adventure Opportunities. The New Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve is due to open in 2013 allowing up to 40,000 scouts from throughout the United States to experience the beauty and splendor of the Southern West Virginia Mountains for the Annual National Scout Jamboree. The 10,600 acre facility will offer scouts an outdoor adventure they will treasure for the rest of their lives. We are thrilled this wonderful experience will be part of our tourism community starting in 2013.
